Eu acho que o trabalho do David Lynch é mais ou menos, e não devo andar longe da verdade quando digo que o Wittgenstein é um génio que facilmente aprofunda e concretizaaquilo que o Lynch julga que sabe dizer.
As a young man, Wittgenstein had thought logic could provide a solid foundation for a philosophy of mathematics. Now in his fifties, he denied outright there were any mathematical facts to be discovered. For Wittgenstein, a proof in mathematics does not establish the truth of a conclusion, but rather fixes the meaning of certain signs. That is, the "inexorability" of mathematics does not consist of certain knowledge of mathematical truths, but in the fact that mathematical propositions are grammatical, a kind of language game through which meaning becomes fixed. One the first day of class, Wittgenstein begins by stating, "I shall try and try again to show that what is called a mathematical discovery had much better be called a mathematical invention."
Primeiro foi Miguel Frasquilho, o representante do Banco Espírito Santo na bancada parlamentar do PSD, a dar o mote à saída do plenário da Assembleia da República, que o programa "foi mal desenhado", "mal concebido"; depois foi o alucinado administrador-delegado da frau Merkel para a Lusitânia com a mesma conversa, não tive culpa de nada, não foi nada comigo, o buraco em que nos encontramos não foi fruto da minha alucinação, e tal; à noite levámos com Eduardo 'o pai da criança' Catroga na TVI 24 a reescrever a História recente de Portugal, perante um balbuciante e complacente entrevistador a quem deram o papel de jornalista, que o PSD não foi tido nem achado e quase que foi obrigado a assinar de cruz o tal do infame memorando.
